Feeding

All cats are fed twice a day, unless you ask otherwise.

Older cats and kittens are fed according to their needs. We stock a wide variety of foods.

Dietary

You’re more than welcome to bring any dietary food required for your cat, as unfortunately, we may not be able to supply this.

Please do make sure you bring plenty of the dietary food for the length of your cats stay.

HEALTH & WELFARE

For the protection of all the cats in our care, only cats that have an up to date vaccination certificate against cat-flu and feline enteritis will be accepted.

The health and welfare of your cat is our prime concern over the period that your cat will be at Pussy Willows. Disinfectant minimises the risk of ill health, together with a thorough daily cleaning program of your cats’ chalet and run. We check the health of your cat twice daily. We will treat your cat as we would our own.

If your cat needs medication during their stay, we are veterinary recommended and are able to administer medication and injections. All medications must be supplied in the original packaging and clearly labelled with the pets name, drug name, strengths, dose, frequency, and prescribing vets name.

Owners are responsible for any veterinary fees that are incurred should your cat fall ill or need attention.

 

If you find your cat cannot be vaccinated, due to adverse health conditions, please call for advice.

All cats must be treated against fleas prior to arrival. Any cat showing signs of flea infestation will be treated and the cost will be added to the final bill.

No cat that is suffering from, or is suspected of suffering from any infectious disease can be accepted. All cats will be inspected on arrival and the proprietors have the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill-health pending the advice of the veterinary surgeon.

Any cat over the age of 8 months that has not been neutered will not be accepted.

SECURITY

Here at Pussy Willows Cattery in Gloucestershire, we have a high priority in keeping the Cattery safe and secure at all times. We have 24 hour CCTV recording as well as security lighting at night with movement sensors. All of our cat pens are individually locked at all times and have double entry points to make sure your cat(s) can never escape.
